A Little Bit About Me

What better way to make the most of your stay in Israel than to see the sites with a professional guide, whether in your rented car or my comfortable 2017 Subaru Forester.
I am a licensed tour guide with the Ministry of Tourism, but more than that, I will share my love and knowledge of this country with you. I will make the landscape come alive with stories and tales. I have guided astronauts, diplomats, university deans, a king, news reporters and various missions.
I was an officer in the IDF’s Artillery Corps and will take you to lookout and observation points and explain the complex military and security situations in the region. I will take you to many interesting places and cities, to hi-tech industries, agricultural settlements, award winning wineries, an olive oil soap factory, archeological sites, historical towns, nature walks, a shady boulevard with Bauhaus architecture, Druze and Circassian villages, and many more fun filled activities that will enrich your Israel experience.
And being a father and grandfather myself, I appreciate the importance of creating a wonderful and bonding touring experience for the whole family.
I was born in Toronto, Canada. I moved to Israel when I was 19, over 40 years ago. After my army service, I attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where I received a BSc in Civil Engineering. I also worked in hi-tech industries and created one of the Israel’s top inns from ruins in the mystical city of Safed (Tzfat), the Artists’ Colony Inn.
